Our mission is to impact the baseball community by creating a positive learning environment where young players can develop FUNdamentals and high character.
Watch the THBA difference featured on ESPN WPTV.
Without having FUN, we know it doesn't matter to a young player how much we know about baseball. We are intentional about "learning by doing" so every attendee remains engaged. We keep it simple and focused on FUNdamentals. Students learn the 6F's of playing the infield and a sound approach to hitting focused on balance, good timing and a short, compact swing. Proper throwing mechanics are stressed daily as well as endless drills to improve every players Baseball IQ. Most importantly, we skillfully weave life lessons and encouragement into all facets of our program!
With 20 years and over 15,000 participants, our game plan has withstood the test of time. And, we've managed to get some pretty impressive results. Hundreds of loyal THBA alumni can trace their roots back to our camps and have gone onto play at the high school, college or even professional level. Who will be next?
In addition to Brian Justine, our camp features contributions and instruction from former and current professional players. Brian Schneider pictured above) , Carl Pavano, Rick Ankiel have all made guest appearances. And of course, surprise appearances from Tommy Hutton himself.
We're educators first! Most instructional programs go wrong by having players in huge groups. Not us, we build lasting relationships, keep the camp safe, and connect with players by keeping ratios low!
Each year, the THBA works with some of the area's top business in partnership to bring the community the best of everything during their camp experience. 2022 is no different. We're proud to have the support and participation from the organizations below.
THBA campers will get to take a break from baseball and be treated to a snow cone of their choice at Bahama Bucks!
