Summer Skills Camp #3 Recap

The Tommy Hutton Baseball Academy hosted skills camp #3 at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium from June 18-22, 2018. With over 200 camps produced and operated since 2000, the THBA added another positive week of FUNdamentals to the record books. Bubba Hollins, a Miami Marlins infield prospect currently playing for the Jupiter Hammerheads, spent some time interacting with players and coaches on Tuesday, June 19. The camp also received instruction from athletic performance guru Kyle Webber of SAS Jupiter. Coach Frank Torre and his talented staff provided instruction and quality repetitions that covered all aspects of the game. Players learned the 6F’s of playing the infield and how to play a quality game of catch including long toss. Torre also spent a great deal of time covering the fundamentals of hitting. Chef Jerry Justine served his world famous hot dogs on Monday and Baldino’s Pizza Tequesta provided delicious pizzas for the camp on Friday. Jordan Pratt, Jack Kelly, Drew Kiernan, and Hagen Bensel (pictured) took home end of the week honors. The THBA will be back in action June 25-29 for their World Series week, spots are still available. Visit facebook.com/tommyhutton to see photos from June 18-22 (summer skills camp #3).
