Where are they now? Brandon Hyde
If you attended a THBA camp or visited Tommy Hutton’s Batting cages from 2008-2013, you likely remember or even worked with a talented hitting instructor by the name of Brandon Hyde (pictured at 2012 Christmas camp). At the time, Hyde was working his way up the ranks of professional baseballs coaching chain and was managing the Jupiter Hammerheads right here at Roger Dean. He remained in south Florida until 2013; serving in a variety of roles for the Miami Marlins. Hyde’s big break came in 2013 when Rick Renteria hired him as bench coach for the Chicago Cubs. On December 12th, 2018, Brandon Hyde was named manager of the Baltimore Orioles. Congratulations Brandon and the THBA will always be grateful for all your contributions during your time in south Florida!
