2018 Summer Camp Week#1 Recap

2018 THBA summer camps are in full swing after completing a fun and productive week of skill development June 4-8 at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. Led by Director Frank Torre, the camp focused on fundamental skill development in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Torre and his staff skillfully wove humor and life lessons into a week filled with drills and detailed instruction. Highlights from the week included a visit from Marlins prospect Parker Bugg, an athletic performance training session with local fitness guru Kyle Webber of SAS Jupiter, use of Roger Dean’s main stadium field on Friday, and membership to the Fins and Feathers Kids Club. To conclude the week, Torre and his staff recognized the winners of the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run competition and those players who demonstrated outstanding hustle and overall performance. Photos of each player with Parker Bugg as well as shots of award recipients (pictured: Nick Cheung, Hustle Award Winner) can be found on the THBA facebook page .
The THBA has several weeks of camp remaining this summer, continuing next week (June 11-15) at Roger Dean.
