Sold out Thanksgiving camp features two baseball legends

The Tommy Hutton Baseball Academy hosted a Thanksgiving break skills camp November 19-21 at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium that served over 70 local and out of town players. The camp featured award winning FUNdamental instruction and visits from two baseball legends. On Monday 11/19, Miami Marlins coach Brian Schneider ran a two hour hitting class and signed autographs. On Tuesday, 11/20, Tommy Hutton himself paid a visit to camp and showed off his 2003 Miami Marlins world series ring. Attendees were treated to a snow cone party at Bahama Bucks Abacoa and a round of mini golf followed by ice cream at Golden Cub golf. Coaches Ray White and Brian Justine led the instructional sessions and guided the camp through numerous drills that focused all aspects of the game. The camp concluded on Wednesday afternoon with an awards presentation and pizza party courtesy of Baldino’s pizza. Emma Wayne, Marshall Kirchner and Anthony Zito were honored as the Hustle Award winners and Billy Murtha, Hudson Ellis and Cooper Kline took home player of the week honors.
