Will Guay
Owner
Will Guay is a native of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Guay holds an associate's degree from Snead State in Boaz, Alabama, and a BS in Sports Management from Concord University in Athens, West Virginia. A lifelong resident of Palm Beach Gardens, he played in the PBGYAA from when he was 4 to 13 years old. He also was a camper at the Tommy Hutton Baseball Academy and played for the Tommy Hutton Heat travel ball team under Brian Justine.
From High School to College
In high school he was a 3-year varsity player at Palm Beach Gardens High School under Coach Joe Russo. His senior year he was selected as an all-county player, and he was named the team MVP for the district champions. He played under Frank Torre for the SACSN National Team and won a national championship in 2013. Will played 2 years as a starting pitcher at Snead State and played his last 2 years of college baseball at Concord University.
Career Highlights
In Guay's senior season, he was first team all-conference, second team all region and broke the single-season strikeout record.
In 2020 he was named to Concord University's all-decade team.
In 2019, Guay was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the MLB draft. During the 2019 season he played for the Johnson City Cardinals (Tennessee). In that season, Will was the winning pitcher in the championship game, led the team in saves, and was the relief pitcher of the year for Johnson City.
In 2021, Guay played for the Palm Beach Cardinals; he won 3 games and was a finalist for pitcher of the month in June for the whole organization.
Will has been heavily involved with Tommy Hutton Baseball since 2011. Guay is very excited about his new role with the Tommy Hutton Baseball Academy.
Brian Justine, MS ED
Founder
Brian Justine is a native of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and founder of the Tommy Hutton Baseball Academy. Justine holds a BS in Sports Management from Florida International University and an MS in Education Administration from Manhattan College, where he also coached. He was the athletic director at Jupiter Christian School, where he also served as head baseball coach from 2016 to 2018.
A Local Legend
A local product, Justine grew up in Palm Beach Gardens playing in the PBGYAA before spending four years on the varsity team at Dwyer HS. Justine is the first player in DHS history to be selected in Major League Baseball's amateur draft. He went on to play at the Division I and minor league levels before beginning a career in sports administration and coaching in his hometown.
When he's not busy overseeing the area's top baseball instructional program, Brian is helping friends and family achieve their real estate goals as South Florida's Hometown Agent!
Frank Torre, Jr.
Guest Instructor
Frank Torre, Jr., is the head baseball coach at Indian River State College in Ft. Pierce, FL. Previously, he was a teacher and head coach at Dwyer High School and National Director of Student Athlete Community Service Network (SACSN). In his time at Dwyer, Torre coached 26 players that have moved on to Division 1 colleges as well as three MLB draft selections.
A Family of Champions
As head coach of the SACSN national team, Torre has seen twelve SACSN alumni be selected in the first five rounds of the MLB Draft. Coach Torre was named Conference Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2014. He was also named Class 7A District 9 coach of the year in 2016. Torre was a Freshman All-American at the University of New Orleans and was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1999 MLB Amateur Draft.
Coach Torre comes from a long line of baseball greats. His father, Frank Torre Sr., was a World Series champion with the Milwaukee Braves, and his uncle, Joe Torre, is a member of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Torre grew up playing in the JTAA and was an All-Area performer at Dwyer HS.
Cameron O'Stewart (Coach Stew)
Lead Instructors
Cameron O’Stewart grew up in Palm Beach County, attending Tommy Hutton Camps and playing travel ball growing up at Burns Road. His hardworking, enthusiastic approach toward coaching has made them two of the most outstanding instructors the THBA has ever seen. He takes pride in giving back to the baseball community and the THBA, where they spent much of their time as youngsters.
