19 Camp Staff Announced

The Tommy Hutton Baseball Academy has announced its 2019 summer camp staff. Headlining the list of talented and experienced instructors is THBA founder Brian Justine, who returns full time to the day to day leadership role for the first time since 2012.
“I couldn’t be more excited and energized! Being back on the field to lead our summer camps forward is something I absolutely treasure. I’m looking forward to building many lasting relationships with our students and their families!” Justine explained.
Joining Justine this summer at Roger Dean are two very popular local coaches- Bryan Hinson and Ray White. Hinson and White bring with them a combined 35 years of successful coaching experience. Justine will lean on Coach White and Coach Hinson to help lead instructional sessions while supervising students and staff.
Rounding out the 2019 camp staff are over a dozen local high school, college and minor league players. As always, the THBA brings a full circle, family friendly approach to its staffing as the majority of the camps personnel are former camp attendees. Additionally, the THBA will continue to work closely with the Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals in an effort to bring out current minor league players and coaches each week to interact with the camp. Kyle Webber from SAS Jupiter remains on board to oversee the camps weekly speed and agility program.
“Having a staff of enthusiastic instructors who all attended our camps as youngsters creates a very special learning environment for our students. The staff genuinely cares about each player and all of these outstanding young men hold themselves accountable for bringing our mission to life each and every day. The continuity we have in place is one of the many reasons our program continues to thrive,” commented Justine.
Complimenting the outstanding day-to-day nucleus will be two local college coaches and a baseball legend. IRSC coaches Frank Torre and Tino Gaudino will be on hand throughout the summer when their schedules permit and Tommy Hutton himself will be making regular appearances as well.
All THBA camp personnel have completed a First Aid/CPR course and submitted a background screening from an accredited agency. The THBA holds an annual staff training meeting in May in advance of summer camps. The coach to player ratio the THBA uses for summer camps is 8:1.
